Angie Jones
Co-Owner / Managing Partner

As Managing Partner at Align Leadership, Angie is a skilled coach and facilitator who works with leaders, teams, and organizations as they navigate complexity and growth.

She helps individuals build self-awareness and translate new understanding into lasting changes in how they lead. Coaching creates space to notice patterns, experiment with new approaches, and reflect on what happens when those approaches meet real work. Over time, people develop more range in how they respond, especially under pressure. The result is leadership that is steadier and more intentional.

Angie’s coaching is grounded in a whole-person approach and supported by her training as a Certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West. She is also a Certified Chestnut Paes Enneagram Professional and uses the Enneagram as a developmental framework for understanding the patterns that shape how people behave and what drives them. She works well with a wide range of thinking styles and has specialized experience working with neurodivergent clients.

In addition to one-on-one coaching, Angie designs and facilitates leadership workshops and longer-form programs for teams and cohorts. These engagements make room for reflection and practice. Participants build shared language through real conversation, then carry the learning back into their day-to-day work.

Before coaching full time, Angie spent many years in healthcare leadership. That experience gave her a grounded understanding of people-centered systems with limited time and competing demands. It shaped her approach to leadership development and built a deep respect for what the work asks of leaders when stakes are high. It also gave her a clear view of what helps people stay steady and effective in the moments that matter most.
In her words...
What do you love about this work?
I love the moment someone gets honest about what’s true for them, and it feels less shameful to say it out loud. Often they can suddenly see the pattern that has been running the show, and they realize they have been getting in their own way. That moment opens up real choice. I also love watching people bring forward parts of themselves that have been buried or muted for a long time, then lead and live from that fuller version of who they are.
What tends to create the biggest shifts in coaching?
The biggest shifts come from seeing what’s actually happening and staying with it long enough to change it. A lot of our work is pattern-focused. We connect the dots between things that can feel unrelated, name the beliefs underneath, and listen for the wisdom people are already expressing without realizing it. From there we work with what shows up in real life, using questions, reflection, and practices that help someone respond differently in the moments that matter.
What is something you like to do outside of your work with Align?
I’m happiest in nature, especially near water. I love exploring, hiking, and getting curious about what I find, whether that’s foraging, rockhounding, or taking photos. I also love making things with my hands. I rotate through watercolor, knitting, crochet, drawing, beadwork, and whatever creative project I’m into at the moment. I absolutely love learning new things and am endlessly curious.
